The national organization supports and encourages the idea of local or regional meetings. Learning to use these machines can be difficult and some times discouraging when trying on your own. But, the mechanical operation of the circular knitter is a fascinating and some times mesmerizing experience. By being physically present, together as a group enhances learning for most interested persons.
There is a group in upper Michigan who has settled on the acronym MIKI. They have met several times near Coleman, Michigan. Interested persons should contact Roxanne. This group is growing in size and enthusiasm. Persons from Canada have attended here.
Pat Fly heads up an extremely active regional group in Oregon and Washington. They plan a knit-in about every other month at Myra's in Shelton, WA. Please contact Pat Fly for all details.
