The Circular Sock Machine Society of America (CSMSA) is a non-profit organization with the purpose to recommend, formulate, and resolve policies and other matters that facilitate membership efforts in the preservation and promotion of the Circular Sock Machine.

Anyone may become a member of the CSMSA by paying an annual membership fee of $18.00 for mailing addresses within the U.S. or $20.00 for foreign. All membership fees paid through PayPal is $19.00 USD. This fee includes three distinct advantages:

• access to the Membership pages of this web site where a copy of the organization's By-Laws and current information are located
• a one year subscription to the SockMachine Knitting newsletter (four issues)
• the opportunity to attend the annual convention at a membership fee
